Background
I'm a Technical Leader and Full-Stack Architect based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Originally from South Africa, I moved to Australia at age 10 and later spent time in the United States playing American football in college before returning to pursue my career in technology.
My technical foundation began at the Australian Defence Science & Technology Group (DSTG), where I worked as a Data Science Researcher developing NLP and machine learning solutions for national security applications. This role taught me to build systems that are robust, secure, and thoroughly tested.
I then took on the role of Technical Lead at S30 Studios, where I led the complete digital transformation of a fitness franchise operating across Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand. I architected their entire technology stack — a multi-tenant SaaS platform processing $5M+ annually through Stripe Connect, a React Native mobile app serving 7,000+ members, and comprehensive admin dashboards for franchise management.
